The effects of domestic violence, which is often hidden in our rural and urban communities, ripples out into our churches, schools and places of employment.
Retreat leaders will take us on a journey through the perspective of the abused person. Strategies and group discussion will be offered on effective outreach and ministry to families and community groups.
This event includes lodging and meals, along with worship, fellowship and free time in the beautiful setting of Rainbow Lodge in North Bend,WA.
The cost is 125.00 and scholarship money is available for all or part of the cost.
You may check-in to the Lodge as early as Sunday evening, after 6:30PM. We will begin our learning time at either 9:00AM or perhaps at 10:00AM, if we have commuters. (The cost for commuters is $60.00.) We will end our time Tuesday, Sept. 17, following lunch.
