In addition, the Minister for Community Life interfaces with vendors, supports church staff and parishioners, provides welcome and hospitality to weekday visitors, and performs general office management tasks. Childcare Attendant - Magnolia PC

Job Posting:  Childcare Attendant – Magnolia Presbyterian Church

The general responsibilities of the childcare attendant are to provide a loving, safe environment for our young children, to help them with age appropriate activities, and to take care of any needs the children may have.

The childcare attendant will cover the nursery (infants – age 3) during our worship service year-round, assist our regular Sunday School teachers with preschool or elementary classes on weeks when there are no children in the nursery, and ensure that kid spaces are tidied up at the end of the day.

Hours:  Regular hours are 9:00 am to between 12 and 12:30 pm on Sunday mornings.  Summer hours are 10:00 am to 12:00 or 12:30 pm.  A few additional hours are possible periodically for special activities or services.

Compensation:  $15.00 per hour, averaging 2.5 - 3.5 hours per Sunday.  Each week’s precise hours to be recorded on a time card in the church office.

Music Dir. - Wedgwood PC

The position includes directing and accompanying the choir in worship services and rehearsals, accompanying the congregation and providing non-choral music in worship services, planning for both choral and non-choral music, and participating in worship planning with the pastor and worship ministry team.
