“Finding Hope Amid the Rubble of the Israel/Palestine Peace Process: What is the role and responsibility of Americans?” a presentation by Dr. Jeff Halper at Our Lady of the Lake Church, Sunday, February 21, 7:00PM
Dr. Halper is a renowned Israeli-American peace and human rights activist. In 1997 he founded the Israeli Committee Against House Demolitions (ICAHD): He emigrated to Israel in 1973, taught at universities in theUS, Latin America and Africa, and is an author, acclaimed speaker, and 2006 Nobel Peace Prize nominee.  He authoredObstacles to Peace: A Reframing of the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict and An Israeli In Palestine: Resisting Dispossession, Redeeming Israel.
The presentation will be in Our Lady of the Lake Church’s Jubilee Hall, 8900 35th Ave. NE, Seattle, WA 98115 in Wedgwood at 7:00PM.  Jeff’s books will be on sale after 8:15PM.  Refreshments served.  Hosted by the Our Lady of theLake Justice and Peace Committee
