Travel to Armenia

Seattle Presbytery

Seek peace by caring for God’s earth. Go on an

Environmental and Peacemaking Travel Study Seminar to Armenia. Visit reforestation sites, pristine forests in need of protection from mining, and projects working to make peace with God’s earth and to educate children. Meet leaders working on environmental justice concerns. Learn about Armenia’s relationships with neighboring countries. The seminar will occur on November 1-12, 2010. Learn more and find application forms. This seminar is a partnership between the Presbyterian Peacemaking Program and Presbyterian Environmental Ministries in consultation with the Jinishian Memorial Program, which enables Armenians in need to move from poverty and despair to self-sufficiency and hope through relief, development, and spiritual uplift. Contact Debby Vial (Presbyterian Peacemaking Program) at 502-569-5702, or Katie Holmes (Presbyterian Environmental Ministries) with questions or to receive an application by mail.
