Who We Are

The Presbytery of Seattle is the 48 churches and worshipping communities in the greater Seattle area, including nearby Kitsap County, and is a part of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Acknowledging that our houses of worship are located on the ancestral lands of the Duwamish and Salish peoples, the Presbytery is committed to the incarnational faith of justice, peace, and hope.  Adhering to theMatthew 25 movement within the PCUSA denomination, theSeattle Presbytery is committed to and prioritizes: building congregational vitality, dismantling structural racism, and eradicating systemic poverty.
