Summer Internship - Seattle Community Church
Title: Summer Intern. Full Time (40 hrs/week).
Purpose: To work with staff in planning, developing, and coordinating Vacation Bible School, Astoria Mission Trip and Creation Trip at SCC.
Accountability: Accountable to the pastor as head of staff.
Responsibilities:
I. Vacation Bible School
A. Lead and coordinate and train volunteers and programs.
B. Video production and editing.
C. Set up and run lighting and audio.
D. Manage curriculum, resources, and classrooms.
E. Nurture children’s spiritual development through relationships, creative teaching and
programming.
F. Run the VBS program.
II. Astoria Mission
A. All responsibilities above.
B. Support the team with daily devotionals.
C. Be a supervisor to all team members on the trip.
III. Creation
A. Plan and coordinate all activities.
B. Lead a daily devotional.
C. Have Fun.
