Music Dir. - Wedgwood PC

Seattle Presbytery

Wedgwood Presbyterian Church is seeking a classically trained musician to serve as music director for our congregation. The position includes directing and accompanying the choir in worship services and rehearsals, accompanying the congregation and providing non-choral music in worship services, planning for both choral and non-choral music, and participating in worship planning with the pastor and worship ministry team. Please see the job description for more information about the position.

As a congregation, we are theologically and politically diverse. We are committed to hospitality, service to the community, and spiritual growth, and there is a strong commitment to social justice among our members and friends.

Our worship services are traditional, and we follow the Revised Common Lectionary with special attention to the seasons and festivals of the liturgical year. We enjoy a variety of music in worship but tend toward the traditional and classical. Our worship services are accompanied by a piano and a pipe organ, and we enjoy the presence of other musical instruments as part of our services.
