Accounting Manager - Sammamish

Sammamish Presbyterian Church is seeking applicants for a part-time (20 hours/week) Accounting Manager. For this position, an applicant must not be a member of, nor attend Sammamish Presbyterian Church. This position is responsible for maintaining our financial records in accordance with accounting policy and procedures and supervising the accounting coordinator, within an atmosphere of personal and professional guidance and support.  This job also offers the opportunity to support our church mission of being a "Christ Centered, Mission Minded Family" through frequent interactions with ministry staff and members of the church.

This Book Keeper position requires you to maintain all financial records and statements in accord with generally accepted accounting principles.  You will also be required to prepare financial reports, yearly budgets, and any other financial information needed.  These financial records, reports, and budgets are used to provide information to the Executive Director, the Board, and the Donors of our non-profit organization.

General Qualifications:

2-3 Years of Experience

Excellent knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and Office 2010

Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English

Pastoral Resident - BelPres

Seattle Presbytery

Bellevue Presbyterian Church seeks a small cohort of full-time pastoral residents who will engage in ministry at BelPres. Residents will participate in the ministry of BelPres while developing a greater understanding of their gifts and gaining tools for their future in pastoral ministry.  A pastoral residency is designed to give candidates for ordination a sustained, reflective and challenging encounter with the full range of pastoral roles, duties, and expectations within ministry. BelPres offers a context for both action and reflection, as well as an experience of church leadership that is both realistic and informative.
