Preschool Teacher Assistant - John Knox Community Preschool

Our faith-based preschool, serving the Burien/Normandy Park/ Des Moines area, is looking for a morning Pre-K Teacher Assistant. Applicants should have previous experience in Early Learning Education in a preschool or daycare setting.

Candidates will be required to pass a national background check, have or obtain CPR and first-aid certificate before September 1st. Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 pounds. Fluent verbal and written English skills is a must.

As a Christian preschool, teachers are expected to model and teach Christian values.

A passion for the spiritual, emotional, physical and intellectual wellbeing of children is paramount. We are looking for a Teacher Assistant who is creative, patient, nurturing, has the ability to correct with love, and will become a part of our staff family.

Custodian - North Creek PC (Mill Creek)

Part-time Custodial Assistant (Mill Creek)

Compensation: $11.00 per hour

North Creek Presbyterian Church, located in Mill Creek, WA is looking for a part-time Custodial Assistant 20 - 25 hours per week evenings and weekends to assist with cleaning and maintenance of church facilities. Other responsibilities/qualifications include:
-Knowledge of modern cleaning methods and equipment and their use
-Ability to lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds
-Ability to use computer program for room schedules and set up
-Perform specific cleaning and maintenance tasks as directed by the lead custodian, including cleaning sinks and toilets, mopping and waxing floors, vacuuming carpets, replenishing paper dispensers

The ideal candidate is someone who is welcoming to church members and guests, assisting them with meeting locations and set up needs.
