St. John the Baptist in West Seattle seeks a Minister of Community Life for 25 hours/week. The primary tasks for this position include administrative support, programmatic oversight, database and calendar set up and maintenance, and working with volunteers. In addition, the Minister for Community Life interfaces with vendors, supports church staff and parishioners, provides welcome and hospitality to weekday visitors, and performs general office management tasks. Knowledge of or willingness to learn Microsoft Publisher, Word, Excel; Online People database (Realm) and Website Content Management preferred. This is an hourly position, paid at $19.50-$22.00/hour, depending on experience. Benefits include three weeks’ paid vacation, and pension in line with the Policy of the Diocese of Olympia.
