Sammamish Presbyterian Church will welcome Reverend Earl Palmer the weekend of October 11-13 as he teaches on the topic, “To Trust in God and the Challenges of Faith and Doubt.” Former Senior Pastor at University Presbyterian Church, Reverend Palmer is known for his warm-hearted, insightful, down-to-earth expositional preaching, and for his expertise on Christian scholars such as C.S. Lewis, Karl Barth and Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He has served on the Boards of Princeton Theological Seminary, New College Berkeley, Whitworth University and Regent College, and has written broadly, authoring 17 major books, including 1,2,3, John, Revelation: The Preacher’s Commentary, Laughter in Heaven: Understanding the Parables of Jesus, and The Enormous Exception: Meeting Christ in the Sermon on the Mount.
