Board of Pensions Plan Redesign Workshop led by Rev. Mark Frey, Regional BOP Representative
Mark will provide education related to the Benefits Plan Redesign for 2017, particularly as it relates to non-installed teaching elders and employees other than teaching elders. Learn how to navigate the new online pricing tool that's launching July 11. This will be a new opportunity to build a menu-based benefits program tailored to the specific needs and capabilities of each congregation. This workshop is timely since, for those who want to consider launching this program in 2017, congregations need to submit their information to the Board by the first week of September so that open enrollment can happen in October and early November. The Board of Pensions is hoping to provide congregations wth a new approach of competitively priced, flexible and trustworthy benefits.
Target audience: those who serve local congregations in HR/benefits functions (administrators, personnel & finance staff or elders, HR, treasurers - essentially anyone who makes decisions related to employee benefits in your congregation.)
