Dear fellow Pastors/Leaders/Mentors/Counselors…

If you are engaged in relational ministry with adults, it’s likely you’ve been asked to officiate a few weddings.  Meeting with the couple for premarital counseling is an important part of your role! It not only helps you get to know them more intimately, but enables you to walk with them as they explore and strengthen their relationship.

For over 30 years, Prepare-Enrich has been training pastors, counselors, leaders and mentors to use these relationship tools effectively to coach, guide, and work more effectively with couples as they prepare to be married.  With P-E’s online assessment tool, you have a wonderful structure for conversations about their relationship, in which you can teach proven relationships skills and offer meaningful feedback.

If you are interested in learning more about this great ministry tool, consider attending a one-day training with P-E Facilitator, Rev. Kelly Hostetler on Friday, September 9 at Bellevue Presbyterian Church.  Details about the course can be found here, and more information and testimonials about Prepare-Enrich are on their website

You will come out of this short training with resources and information that will help you to encourage productive conversations, address issues couples have, even if they are not yet aware of their problems; identify their relationship strengths; help couples resolve current issues and prevent future problems; as well as enabling you to quickly understand a couple's needs and maximize your impact over a short time.
