5/22: Honorably Retired Ministers Luncheon

  • Mercer Island Presbyterian Church 3605 84th Avenue Southeast Mercer Island, WA, 98040 United States (map)

Calling All Honorably-Retired Ministers of Seattle Presbytery!

We have scheduled a gathering for Wednesday, May 22, at 10 o’clock AM in the Fireside Room of Mercer Island Presbyterian Church. Conversation from 10 to 12, followed by a delicious lunch served by local church volunteers.

As seniors, we have the training, life experience, and wisdom to make a difference in this time of change in our world and denomination. Toward this end, might it make sense for us to form an ongoing group?

Here are some preliminary ideas about what such a group might do:

  • Get to know one another by sharing our life stories & ministries

  • Discover ways to actively support the Presbytery

  • Study together – biblical, theological

  • Promote the social justice goals of our denomination

Please come on Wednesday, May 22, 2019; 10 am to 1 pm with lunch provided for $5.00.

Fireside Room, Mercer Island Presbyterian Church, 3605 84th ave SE, Mercer Island.

Please RSVP by email to rlclarke@comcast.net by Saturday, May 18.

In Grace and Peace,

Rita-Lou Clarke
