As many of you know, just weeks before I was to begin my ministry in Enumclaw, I was run over by a bus in New Mexico. I spent the next 3 1/2 months recovering from what appeared at first to be not only life-threatening injuries but also a paralyzing spinal cord injury. You all prayed, supported, financially assisted and ultimately welcomed us to Seattle Presbytery in November of 1997.
