GLEN FERGUSON, STATED CLERK
Glen K. Ferguson is a fourth generation Seattleite who grew up at Bellevue Presbyterian Church. As an adult he has been a member at Sammamish Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon, and presently at Overlake Park Presbyterian Church where he currently serves as a ruling elder and Clerk of Session. A Sunday School teacher for 16 years, he served on the Seattle Presbytery's Commission on Ministry prior to being elected Stated Clerk in 2020. A graduate of the University of Washington and the University of Puget Sound Law School, after 30 years in practice he retired from law in 2020. In addition, Glen has served on numerous not-for-profit boards in various officer positions, especially as corporate secretary, where he has seen how good governance and procedure can help an organization work through challenges and thrive.
Other interests include trumpet playing with several local Jazz and classical groups and mountaineering. Glen and his wife, Junko, share a love for the Leonberger dog breed and, especially, their Leonbergers: Uli and Beatrice.
