Seattle Presbytery

The Director of Music Ministries is responsible for all aspects of worship music at Mt. Baker Park Presbyterian Church including playing the piano or organ for worship services. In support of mission-driven worship, the Director of Music Ministries provides music that can foster a spirit-filled worship experience.

This includes planning and preparation, as well as providing choral, vocal, and instrumental selections that fulfill the church’s vision of worship. The Director of Music Ministries works closely with the pastor to ensure that musical selections fit with the selected hymns, scriptures, and sermon themes. In addition, the Director of Music works with guest soloists and instrumentalists as necessary. This position is also available to provide music for funerals or memorial services, as well as weddings, compensated by the parties involved.
