**Job Summary:**

As the Director of Music Ministries, you will play a pivotal role in leading our congregation through inspiring and engaging musical worship experiences. Under the direction of the Lead Pastor and in collaboration with the Worship Planning Team, you will plan, coordinate, and execute the musical elements of weekly worship and special services, all with the aim of honoring Christ and discipling His people.


Responsibilities


1. Co-lead weekly rehearsals, worship services, and special events with the Lead Pastor, incorporating various music styles.

2. Collaborate weekly with the Pastor and Worship Planning Team to plan services and events.

3. Attend staff meetings to align music ministries with other church activities, including youth and technical ministries.

4. Recruit, engage, and develop volunteers across all age groups as musicians and leaders.

5. Maintain physical and electronic music records for services.

6. Request and manage copyright permissions, ensuring accurate licensing records.

7. Provide musical support for special events as needed.

8. Assist with setting annual goals and developing the worship music budget.

9. Perform additional duties assigned by the Lead Pastor.


Qualifications

- Committed to Christ and regularly spends time in prayer, Bible study and personal discipleship.

- Advanced-level skill in a musical instrument; previous experience as a conductor and/or worship music leader preferred; degree in music preferred. 

Compensation and Reviews: This is a 20-hour position which does not include benefits, paid $34 to $40/hour, depending on experience. Performance reviews will be conducted annually.
