Bookkeeper - Trinity PC (Tacoma)

Trinity Presbyterian Church (Tacoma) is looking for a bookkeeper to support the on-going work of the Trinity congregation and outreach programs. The job involves all of the weekly financial management tasks - including recording giving receipts, preparing checks, monitoring cashflow, and reporting. We want someone committed to Christ and who would share Trinity’s outward-looking vision. Experience with Quickbooks & Payroll is a must. Works under the supervision of the Church Treasurer, and works closely with the Church Administrator. 

The job is 8 hours a week. Hours need to be regular, two days a week, during business hours, in two 4 hour blocks. Flexibility on which days. One Tuesday evening meeting with the Finance Team each month. 

The pay is hourly - $15-18/hr depending on experience and qualifications.

Youth & Recreation Ministry Staff - Steel Lake

The Youth Ministry Staff will implement and share in the leadership of a ministry which will include opportunities for worship, Bible study, small group discussions, fun activities, retreats, special events, service projects, and mission trips.  10 hours per week.  Flexibility in work schedule required.  

Recreation Ministry Component: utilize the gym for organized sports games with grade school through high school neighborhood students.   There would also be an evening component for adult teams.  This individual will be the one who introduces people to Christ and Steel Lake.  15 hours per week.
