Position Responsibilities

Youth Ministry - The Ministry Associate’s primary responsibility is student discipleship.  This includes hands-on ministry to students/youth through strong relationships, volunteer recruitment, training volunteers, and program design and administration.  Broader Church through partnerships and other opportunities as available.

Adult Ministry – Oversee adult discipleship and adult education programs; develop curriculum for training and lead small groups

Worship Assistant - Assist the Senior Pastor in the planning and administration of CKPC’s worship services participate in worship on a regular basis, as other duties allow

Executive Dir. - Glacier Presbyterian Camp

Glacier Presbyterian Camp and Conference Center in Big Sky Montana is seeking God’s help and YOURS to get our application into the right hands of someone you believe would make an excellent Executive Director.   The camp sits on 40+ acres located on the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi, Flathead Lake.  Over the last 84 years, God has blessed and grown this ministry – most significantly in the last 5 years.  The camp is integral and highly valued by our close-knit Presbytery and given a wider mission into the Northwest Region of Montana.  www.glaciercamp.org

Currently the camp supports 3 Full-Time staff (Executive Director, Program Director, & Land/Maintenance Manager) with a Part-Time Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeper.  New onsite housing is included in the package, with a salary range 38-42K, and a negotiable benefits package.  Our ideal timeline to begin the call is December 1st – allowing 1 month overlap and training with the outgoing Executive Director.

Youth Director (PT) - Magnolia

Purpose: To provide leadership for our youth in grades 5 to 8.  

Qualifications: Deep commitment to Jesus Christ and his church; love for older children and youth and experience teaching in a church setting; good organizational and communication skills. Experience in music leadership, while not a prerequisite, would also be an asset in this position.

Hours: 20 hours per month, on average.  Ideally, we would like a two year commitment to this position.

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to create and implement integrated communications strategy that reinforces key messages consistently across communications channels.
  • Develop opportunities for media exposure for MLP, via press releases, advertising and coverage of events
  • Co-Convene with MLP Board point person the Editorial Board blogger team.
  • Create, schedule, and monitor social media content including Facebook and Twitter.
  • Create bi-weekly e-newsletters including identifying and soliciting content, writing, and formatting text and photos.
  • Oversee website content creation and monitor for accuracy, up-to-date news, active links, and consistency across organizational pages.
  • Coordinate the production, printing, and distribution of MLP mass mailings including the More Light Update, quarterly appeal letters, and other documents as requested.
  • Manage registrations for MLP’s bi-annual National Conference, General Assembly events, and smaller events. Create registration forms and documents as needed to assist Board members in managing conferences and events.

Children's Ministry Coordinator (PT) - Madrona Grace

Madrona Grace Presbyterian Church (MGPC) is a small, progressive, diverse church in Seattle’s Central Area. Our mission is “Seeking the Beloved Community through the Liberating Love of Jesus.” Our Children’s ministry currently consists of nursery care during Sunday morning worship for children ages 0-5, and workshops for older children through grade 5. We have about 21 children who consistently participate, 9 of whom are in the nursery, and 12 whom attend the workshops. Children also sometimes participate in worship through leading prayers, singing in the choir, etc. We are seeking an organized, energetic person who can help coordinate and support our eight workshop teachers and our nursery staff-person while working with parents to improve our overall children’s ministry. Pianist/Music Minister - Madrona Grace

Hours & Compensation: The MGPC choir meets weekly from September to mid-June. Midweek, night rehearsals last for 1.5 hours. Sunday morning rehearsal starts at 10:00 AM. Worship lasts from 11 AM until around 12:30 PM. The rate of pay shall be $250 per week for music preparation, weekly rehearsal, and playing at service. This Book Keeper position requires you to maintain all financial records and statements in accord with generally accepted accounting principles.  You will also be required to prepare financial reports, yearly budgets, and any other financial information needed.  These financial records, reports, and budgets are used to provide information to the Executive Director, the Board, and the Donors of our non-profit organization.

General Qualifications:
