The purpose of this position is to participate with a team, provide leadership for Sunday morning classes/experiences for children ages 2-5th grade during the summer worship services, implementing and leading Sunday programming during summer worship services from June 25-September 3, 2017 with a grade level team, creating a quality overall experience while working collaboratively with your team, creating discipling relationships with children and their families and more.

The Senior Director of University Ministry (UMIN) advances the mission of University Presbyterian Church (UPC) to share hope in Jesus Christ by leading a movement of university students who explore the good news of Jesus Christ, respond to his call to follow him in every area of their lives, and who give witness to his love across campus and around the world. This leader serves a church that loves to love students and helps its members get their arms around students, the University of Washington, and other colleges and universities of Seattle.

Childcare Attendant - Magnolia PC
The general responsibilities of the childcare attendant are to provide a loving, safe environment for our young children, to help them with age appropriate activities, and to take care of any needs the children may have.
The childcare attendant will cover the nursery (infants – age 3) during our worship service year-round, assist our regular Sunday School teachers with preschool or elementary classes on weeks when there are no children in the nursery, and supervise our Kid Zone play area during coffee hour after worship, ensuring that both the nursery and the Kid Zone are tidied up at the end of the day.
Hours: Regular hours are 9:00 am to between 12 and 12:30 pm on Sunday mornings. Summer hours are 10:00 am to 12:00 or 12:30 pm. A few additional hours are possible periodically for special activities or services.
Compensation: $13.00 per hour, averaging 2.5 - 3.5 hours per Sunday. Each week’s precise hours to be recorded on a time card in the church office.
