Together we call out injustice.
The tragedy of Michael Brown’s death at the hands of the police is an ongoing reminder of the violence and abuses waged upon people of color and the poor throughout our country and the world. Too often many are left feeling despair and a lack vision of how to respond to abuses of power and privilege. As with the prophets before us, God is calling people of faith to speak and work to end acts of injustice against all people.
You are invited to not just watch as events unfold, but to stand in solidarity with our sisters and brothers in Ferguson, MO and Seattle who call out for God’s justice and an end to racially based violence.
We will peaceably gather at
3:00 pm at Westlake Center (400 Pine Street, Seattle)
for a time of prayer, worship, and vigil.
All who are grieved, seek justice, and pursue equality are invited to attend.
