How does faith translate into active citizenship? Join us at 7 pm in UPC's sanctuary on 4 consecutive Wednesday evenings this fall to explore this question with panelists who are deeply faithful to Christ and deeply engaged in public life –from all 'sides' of our current political debates.

Oct. 19 – Faith in Action:  Engaging Local Issues  

Dan Satterberg (King County Prosecutor) on criminal justice reform, with Stew Bowerman (UPC Associate Director of International Ministries) on personal involvement in racial justice; and Brian Chandler (Union Gospel Mission leader of Men's Outreach & Jungle outreach team) on homelessness.

Oct. 26 – Immigration, Ethnic Diversity & Worship 

Dr. Joe Castleberry (President, Northwest University and author of “The New Pilgrims - How Immigrants are Renewing America's Faith and Values”), and worship that reconciles, led by David Bailey of Arrabon, an organization based in in Richmond, VA, that equips the church to reflect the diverse kingdom of God (www.arrabon.org).
