Please join our upcoming Spring Regional FSFA Gathering happening virtually June 3rd 2021 at 3pm! In the Fall we discussed the ways in which churches engage the Foster Care System both individually and as a team. In the Winter we followed-up by encouraging each other to push forward in launching initiatives during the Pandemic despite challenges from a variety of angles. ThisSpring we will hear stories of impact and celebrate the collective efforts that we’ve been able to partner together for.

Are you new to the FSFA?
The Foster Support Faith Alliance is a network that connects churches in the Puget Sound Region to the needs of the child welfare system. What if churches could work together both locally and regionally to wrap around their local foster care community with love to care for these vulnerable children and families and the people who serve them? We are doing just that! Building a bridge between the church and the child welfare system:
To build a strong bridge the FSFA’s mission is to strengthen the bridge towers and help to make strong connections
The first tower is the local church. The FSFA works to inform, engage and equip local churches to serve vulnerable children and families.
The second tower is the local Child Welfare Office (DCYF). There are several local DCYF offices located strategically around the Puget Sound. Our goal is to have a local church network support the work and workers of each office.
The connection happens through the local networks which are led by a local church leader serving with a team of church advocates. These local networks are connected through quarterly regional gatherings.
